Frequently Asked Questions
I know booking a reading or joining a workshop can bring up lots of questions — especially if it’s your first time. To make things easier, I’ve gathered some of the most common questions I receive, along with clear answers to help guide you.

Booking & Availability
How do I book a one-on-one session with Dawn?
You can book directly through the online booking system. Simply choose your preferred day and time, click continue to enter your contact details, then click through to be taken to the checkout screen for payment.
How long is a reading session?
Readings generally run for 45–60 minutes.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Appointments often book out months ahead, so it’s best to plan early.The calendar on the online booking page will show the earliest dates available to book.
Do you have a cancellation list?
After making a future booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to join the cancellation list. This ensures your booking is secure while giving you the chance of an earlier time if one becomes available.
Sometimes you may feel you need to see Dawn sooner for your Psychic guidance, but the time of your reading does come around quickly even though you may have to wait.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment, and will I get a refund?
If you need to reschedule or cancel, you must do so at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time. Please contact Dawn for assistance. No rescheduling or refunds are available within 48 hours of your appointment.
Where are readings held, and which suburb are you located in?
In-person readings are held in Gosnells, Perth, Western Australia. Online and phone readings are also available.
Do you have gift cards available?
Yes, gift cards are available to be purchased online and can then be redeemed when booking online. Simply enter your code at the checkout screen.
Are you available for conferences or guest speaking?
Yes, Dawn is available for conferences, events, and speaking engagements. Please get in touch to discuss details.
Readings
What is the difference between a psychic reading and a spiritual/mediumship reading?
Psychic is about us, our soul guidance journey giving direction and insight. Mediumship is about the spirit world where a loved one has passed over. They can bring forth messages but also validate what you are doing. Dawn is very intuitive and will tailor your reading to encompass either, or both, as she is attuned to what your soul needs at the time of your reading.
Do you offer phone or video call (Zoom) readings?
Yes, Dawn offers both phone and Zoom readings for those unable to attend in person.
What is the difference between in person or online?
The answer is none because energy is energy. If you can’t make it to Gosnells, Dawn can offer readings via Zoom, phone or Facebook; some people even find online better because you’re in your own environment and more relaxed. Dawn does readings with people all over the world, there is no difference from being with her in person, it’s all the same.
Can two or three people share a reading together?
Yes, joint or small group readings are possible. Please be aware that loved ones in spirit may not come through for every person. Please contact Dawn directly for details.
Do you offer larger group sessions (e.g. birthdays, private events, ladies’ nights)?
Yes, group sessions for special occasions are available by request. We have a larger room available at the Gosnells office, and fees for group bookings will include room hire. Please contact Dawn directly for details.
Do you travel for house visits or events outside your usual location?
Not for private individual or group bookings, but Dawn does often host events at various locations around Perth and WA, and even NSW.
How long has Dawn been working as a psychic medium?
Dawn has worked with spirit for over 35 years, through readings, teaching and mentoring. Check out her many Google reviews to see how much she has helped others through her readings and workshops.
How long should I wait after a loved one passes before booking a mediumship reading?
Every situation is different, but generally it’s recommended to allow at least a few months. This gives both you and your loved one in spirit time to adjust.
Can you guarantee to connect with a specific person in spirit (e.g. a brother)?
While Dawn cannot guarantee who will come through, spirit brings forward the loved ones and messages you most need at the time.
What happens during a reading, especially if it’s my first time?
Dawn will connect with spirit to bring through guidance, messages, or loved ones. Every reading is unique, and there is always an opportunity for you to ask questions.
Classes & Workshops
Do you offer spiritual development classes, and where are they held?
Beginning with the new school term in 2026, I’ll be offering a 6–8 week program of weekly spiritual development classes via Zoom. Numbers will be kept small to ensure a personal, supportive space for everyone’s growth and learning. More details available soon.
I’m a beginner — do you offer classes for those just starting out?
Yes, many classes and workshops are designed for beginners as well as those with more experience.
What can I expect to learn in the Awakening the Soul workshop?
A workshop is a wonderful foundation for everyone to come together for the whole day. We have lots of fun and education. Also helps if you want to step into more courses or Private mentoring. Perfect for beginners.
What can I expect to learn in the Surrender to Spirit workshop?
Dawn’s Surrender to Spirit Workshop is designed to deepen your relationship and understanding of the mechanics of mediumship. It is available for those who have attended previous workshops, are working with the intuitive arts or have done some work in the past with opening up to spirit. It is not for beginners.
Do you offer mentoring to help develop psychic or mediumship abilities?
Yes, Dawn offers mentoring for those wishing to strengthen their connection with spirit. Dawn is a natural born medium who teaches mediums to unfold their gifts of all abilities, intuitive healing and mediumship.
